Context
The Department of Mathematics and Computer Science of the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Dschang which to organize from December 9 to December 13, 2026 the Workshop on GMC (Game theory and Machine learning for Cybersecurity).
We wish to place this event under the aegis of the « DEVCOM Research Laboratory » within the framework of the international collaboration that we have with the « US-ARMY Research Laboratory », taking into account the beneficial strategic partnership.
It will be a privileged place for meetings and exchanges between researchers, professionals and decision-makers in the field of Cybersecurity. The event will focus on work likely to contribute to development, but also to innovation and technology transfer.
If the COVID19 situation changes for the worst, in Cameroon, we would host an in-person event with restrictions on the number of physical participants and also a virtual one with more participants.
Format of the event
We would like the event to last for four days and will consist of the following activities:
- Doctoral thesis defense of the GMC-DRA project (Game theory and Machine learning for Cyber-Deception, Resilience and Agility), funded by the US Army.
- Talks/tutorials
- Practical sessions (in parallel)
- Poster presentations
- Panel discussion
Apart from the keynote tutorial and talks, we expect all the other project presentations by students on Game Theory, Machine Learning and Cybersecurity enthusiasts.
During this Workshop, discussions will update participants on new perspectives for the development of cybersecurity using new artificial intelligence and game theory techniques.
